I have been developing computer programs for over a decade and spend a lot of time in that world but have a very non-geeky lifestyle. Professionally, I am very consistent with my career but my personal interests change periodically and things I was passionate about a few years back may not matter that much today and vice-versa.

Interests:

• Cars - Love them. Browsing new models and visiting auto shows is my favorite passtime. European cars are the coolest though not as reliable as I would like them to be. My next car is definitely a luxury sports sedan similar to the one below.
  
  
  

• Workout in the gym - Big time stress reliever for me. It makes me fresh and relaxed after a long (sometimes crappy) day at work. MensHealth.com is my favorite resource for exercise tips.

• Sports (Tennis and Cricket)- When I was young, my dad gave me a choice of studies vs sports and I chose studies. I am glad I made that choice because I enjoy my work and can still play and watch my favorite sports. Love playing tennis and watching cricket when Indian cricket team is in winning form.

• Travel - I do a lot of travel and am fortunate to have worked for companies that value quality personal time for their employees. Driving is fun for me as long as I have my favorite music and my wife to feed me good food all along. Of the places I have been to, I love New York in winters at Christmas time, the atmosphere is very festive and crisp weather makes it perfect. Florida is my other destination for winter travel and California for ultimate travel when I want to enjoy crowded places as well as a quiet sojourn. I have had several vacations to foothills of Himalayas, north of India, and it has been the most mesmirising experience. The beauty of himalayas is unmatched and being such a vast area, you can never have enough.

My Family:

A lovely wife who is extremely skilled in the art of work-life balance and taking care of a very careless, forgetful hubby. A wonderful extended family settled in US and Canada.
